There are almost 280000 cambodians in the states. Mn is where the one of the least cambodian are. Cali, MA together is like 100000 etc and more. Other states like PA, CT Etc have more than MN. So your result invalid. There are more Cambodians than Hmong here in the US. it just not where u live.
Actually, my results are not invalid. Last time I checked, your numbers still make up a SMALL AMOUNT of the proportion of the population in the United States.
280,000 to 300+ million of the population in the United States? That is not a significant portion of the population. Nearly under 1% of the population, I don't follow your logic and how you reached your conlcusion. It's pretty brainless if you ask me.
Also, I didn't only apply it to the Minnesota. I said there aren't many Cambodians in proportion to the entire population (hinting at the United States here).
I am fully aware that Minnesota does not have a significant amount of Cambodians, that is why I stated that. I am clearing up some things that you may have misunderstood from my statement.
"I am aware that there are only around 6,000 Cambodians here in Minnesota, and in the country there aren't that many Cambodians in proportion to the population."
Key word here: in proportion to the population. I am not sure how many people live in the US, but it is well over 300 million. IF what you said is true (280,000 live in the United states) then that would constitute the Cambodian population making up less than 1% of the population of the United States. I could imagine there are probably over 400 million right now, which makes your assumption even less significant. >____>
