Well, firstly the title is misleading. I will admit that I am not a rich person in a sense that I posses a lot of money. Although I am rich in everything else, where money can’t even buy. Owning a lot of money doesn’t necessary mean one is rich. However, if you want to be “rich” in a sense that you will own a lot of money, then I can teach you how to. But remember though, knowledge is NOT power, so don’t think you know how to be rich will make you rich. Knowledge is potential power, like a map or a direction, that you must follow through in other to realize your goals. Further, knowledge is not power, because I observed highly intelligent individuals who are not successful when it comes to money matter. I will explain why shortly.
Firstly, what is money? Money is a medium of exchange. Money is a mean toward an end. For example when people want money, they do not want paper bill with a face on it. No, what they want is the things they can buy with money: property, car, material and things, happiness, and sometimes even power. If money is not used, then it has no meaning. There are instances when money become just worthless paper; Inflation, social unrest, extreme scarcity of resources.
For this reason, it is wise to transform your money into something that will further generate money--if you want to be rich. What you want to do is buy assets, or rather buy things that will generate money. In contrast to buying things that will take away your money. For instance if you buy a house (in U.S) you will have to pay for a mortgage, monthly fees, insurance, and every year you have to pay around 10k worth of property taxes. This is not an asset, but a liability. Buying a house will make you poor. Instead invest your money in things that is in demand with the time. There is a time when real estate is profitable. There is a time when new drugs that needed to be invented and investment is required. Or become an extreme likeable sales man. I have experience in this working at a sale person at the mall. The best way to get a customer to come back is to be funny, professional, and likeable. What is also in demand with the current time is drugs. Whether it be street drugs from a lucrative underground market, or drugs that are sponsored from the pharmaceutical companies and endorsed by the government. That’s the reason why many ambitious money driven individual want to become doctor, and illegal drug dealers--they’re both profitable and in high demand with the time.
However, if you’re already rich then these game become easier. You can even set up factory and cut production cost for example in China. You can profit from the sweats, tears, and labored of other. This is common practice in business in powerful corporations, particularly in the U.S. Since they have leverage power by lobbying their government and negotiate with foreign leaders. However, this was meant to focus particularly in the perspective of average U.S citizen not those who suffered from extreme economic exploitation and neocolonialism. Unless we’re talking about the U.S prison population.
Saving money will not get you rich because for every dollar you saved, you need another dollar. Why? It is due to the lost of purchasing power of money overtime, also known as inflation. Why example why money loses its power: The Federal Reserve in the U.S is a banking system that is owned by the government, they can print unlimited money out of thin air. The money that they print to stimulate the economy , when it is first printed, they will give it to those that has connection to the government, those individual get to spent first. What happened is that they used the money to buy most of the scare resources, thus when the money get to the ordinary citizen, there is not a lot of things left to be brought in the market. When there are high demand and less supply, the dollar will loses its power because the price has been jacked up. This is the reason why you cannot get rich by saving money. Gasoline today cost about 4.99 per gallon ( it varies from place to place) but in the future it will increase most definitely, so your money lost its power.
Now, I will explain why highly intelligent individuals will not get rich. Because most of them got jobs. That’s right. We are all taught that if we go to school, study hard, we will get a job. But a job does not get you rich. Intelligent people will either become teacher, professor, or working for some company. Highly intelligent people that stick with school will become doctor, lawyers, or pharmacist. But they’re not rich. They will live as middle class. They will own houses, car, and other things. They will be comfortably and happily secure where they are. Working for the rest of their life paying off debts, mortgage, property taxes, and ready for retirement. Rich people, they rarely work, but they have other work for them. They have assets that will generate them money, and are well off when even not working.
I study the rich, often I would read their book or articles about them, from past to present. And the deserving rich are very ambitious. They often risk everything, some even become homeless before they get to where they are today. Most rich people dropped out of college to pursuit their dream/invention. If you check the riches people in the U.S, most are college drop-out. If you look at the most powerful in history, they’re either conquerors (of spirit or physical force) or charlatans. To be rich is to be adventurous and risk everything. If you’re happy where you are at your job--I will regret to inform you this--but you will never be money rich. In essence, for those who are not born into powerful family, riches, or have connection, then to be rich you have to buy assets, invest, and become adventurous. You must risk it all to escape the plantation where other enslaved you ,and become the owner.
Once you\'re money rich, remember though, money does not make a good soul, but a good soul can transform money and everything around him into goodness, whether it be public matters or private life.
