▾ Forums | Digital | Favourite Fighting Game?

I WANT TO KNOW! What is your favourite fighting game or fighting series? It can be on any console that's ever existed, it can be a 2-D or 3-D fighter, it can be a purely fighting game or a game with fighting incorporated into it (e.g. Ninja Gaiden), ANYTHING! I just wanna know what's your favourite fighting game?

Also, what fighting games have you played (and enjoyed)? Here's my list of favoured fighting games:
- Dead or Alive 2-4
- Tekken 6
- Marvel vs Capcom 3
- Soul Calibur 2-4 (Soul Calibur 5 irritates me)
- BlazBlue: Continuum Shift (although not too big a fan of it since I'm not used to the fighting system yet)
- Guilty Gear Accent Core Plus (freakin' LOVE this game!)
- Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 and Generations
- All of the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Heroes series
- Bleach: Heat The Soul 7
- Mortal Kombat
- Ninja Gaiden 2
- All of the Devil May Cry series
- All of the Dragon Ball Z Budokai series
- EA Fight Night Round 2, 3 and Champion (wanna play Round 4)
- Samurai Warriors 2
- Warriors Orochi (so badly need to get Orochi 2)
- Wii Boxing (c'mon, it's not bad XD)
- Street Fighter Alpha
- Streets of Rage 1 and 2 (anybody who owned a Sega Genesis/Sega Mega Drive depending on what country you were in would know this game. Never got a chance to play Streets of Rage 3...)
- Fatal Fury (another Sega Mega Drive game)
- SNK vs Capcom
- Tatsunoko vs Capcom (although because I had a hacked version with my hacked Wii, which I updated, I couldn't play it enough to really get into it. And it was in Japanese)

So yeah...that pretty much sums up my bigass list of fighting games I've had the pleasure of enjoying and favouring :) I would've included Prince of Persia and Assassin's Creed but the fighting's too boring for me to consider it worthy of my list :P Anywho...LET'S DISCUSS!

Wow I hate asiantown, didn't post my whole post... I remember getting killer instinct because it was a black cartridge for the snes. My favorite character would be fulgore! The games combos were intense. And some of my favorite fighting games would be Street Fighter 3rd strike, DarkStalkers, Persona4 Arena, and .Hack Versus.

Dynasty Warriors is good, but Samurai Warriors is way better in my opinion :P Have you played Samurai Warriors before?
